Update, October 28, 2023 - 12:08 PM: Swell looks good. I will see everyone there tomorrow @ 6:30 AM! I plan on arriving a little earlier just to try and beat traffic.
Note that this could get cancelled if the swell gets worse.
Check this post the night before the trip to make sure all is a go!
Bring a VHF radio!
Start time: 6:30 AM (sunrise around 7:50 AM) - if you need more setup time, feel free to arrive earlier.
End time: 10:00 AM (of course, you are free to stay longer if you want)

| What a great day of fishing! We had 6 total kayakers, and everyone caught fish! The weather was really nice, low swells and little wind. I didn't get any keeper black rockfish, but managed to take home a couple of lings and a nice 26" cabezon. Congrats to Mat for catching a monster ling that was over 30"! Definitely the catch of the day! And this will be my last Depoe kayak trip for 2023 - those mornings are getting too cold for these old bones of mine! We will see Depoe again in late spring 2024. Thank you, Fernando for taking drone shots! They look cool. Steve caught a salmon too, so that was cool. I think there were 2 salmon caught this trip. Unfortunately, ocean salmon season is closed, so they were released. If you want to come with us, simply check back often to this site to see new announcements.
